It’s a valid argument,

Using React and Framer motion, I could build a really cool looking portfolio with interesting page transitions and loading; like something from Awwwards.com. But my portfolio is for showing employers my skills and projects in the fastest and most convenient way possible. Since I use notion daily for my project work and learning it seemed a great fit to keep my work here.

Designed and developed modern, responsive marketing websites to capture new leads. Built using Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and ShadCN UI, tailored to showcase Monton’s multi-sector services.
Spearheaded the design and development of Monton Metalwork’s new CRM system, transforming their manual file-based processes into a fully integrated digital platform.
Architected the CRM from the ground up, starting with Monton’s existing folder/file structure and evolving it into a robust digital workflow.
Delivered modern, responsive marketing websites (Next.js, Tailwind CSS, ShadCN UI) that drive customer acquisition, capture leads, and feed them directly into the CRM for seamless follow-up.
Ensured all modules were built with reusable, maintainable components, giving Monton a flexible and future-proof business platform. </aside>

Working through the SuperProf service I have taught over 200 students in a 1-1 environment on the concepts of frontend and server-side coding. Teaching NodeJs, NextJs and ReactJs along with database and authentication integration.

Contract work [ 2022 - 2024 ].

Collaborated closely with 2 companies to train and work alongside devs not familiar with the React and Node stack.
- Worked with an Eccomerce company developer to implement a Chrome side-panel extension using ReactJs and Ts that enhanced efficiency for the customer service team, streamlining their internal ordering process.
- Worked with company developer to build a Shopify app using shopify remix and Prisma that would essentially allow a manager to be added to their system who could set spending limits for their workers buying workwear. My responsibility was solely frontend and remix rest endpoints where I interacted with their SQL Lite database through Prisma. The storefront was the responsibility of their dev but we both brute forced our way through learning the trouble of proxies between requests and allowed permissions. </aside>

The platform I used for tutoring was great for onboarding new students; however, its only features allowed for messaging and booking sessions. I designed and developed a web-based learning platform tailored for teaching web development concepts through topics, challenges and projects taught through interactive quizzes, practical tasks, in-depth explanations, and animated code snippets. I Created unique, engaging content that goes beyond traditional teaching methods, making complex topics accessible and enjoyable for students at all levels. Built an advanced admin dashboard that streamlines the creation of educational content using modular "learning blocks," enabling efficient content updates and customization. Developed a task and homework-oriented approach to helping students complete their learning journeys. Continuously improved the platform based on user feedback and my desire to keep expanding the content delivered to students.
